The Perfect Champagne Pop

For the big moments in life, there's nothing quite like a pop of a champagne bottle to celebrate! To put the cherry on top - capturing the moment on camera can make for some unforgettable photos! However, getting the perfect champagne pop photo requires a little bit of finess because it’s not something we do every day (unforturnaly)! Below are some tips to help you get the perfect champagne pop for photos that you'll treasure!!

  1. Wait till the end of your session to pop the champagne. Champagne pops can get a little messy, so it's a good idea to take any other photos you want before you start popping bottles. This will help you avoid any unwanted stickiness or spills during your photo session.

  2. Open the champagne bottle without shaking it first. Contrary to what may think, shaking the champagne bottle before popping it can actually have a less impressive spray. Instead, open the bottle without shaking it.

  3. Once open, put your finger over the top and give it the biggest shake! The more your finger is covering the top the more impressive spray of champagne. You can also try stopping halfway through and then shaking it again for even more bubbles and spraying.

  4. Make sure you are pointed and spraying to the side of anyone photographing the spray! We don’t want to get too sticky behind the camera and this will make sure we can see your face in all the celebrations!

  5. Use props to make your champagne pop photos even more fun and festive, consider using props like champagne glasses or your graduation caps!

  6. Last but not least, don't forget to smile and enjoy the moment. The best champagne pop photos are the ones where everyone is having a great time and celebrating together!

It’s not too hard to create the best POP for the perfect champagne photos! Following these tips and tricks, you'll be well on your way to capturing some unforgettable moments on camera. So go ahead and pop that champagne bottle – and don't forget to smile and celebrate accordingly!
